Digital Technologies gives students scope to create digital outcomes that respond to an authentic context, in this case road safety for their age group.

This unit aligns to the technological practice strand and to Progress Outcome 2 or 3 of Designing and Developing Digital Outcomes.
Students interview stakeholders about knowledge of risks to safe road use, and then create a digital media presentation to increase audience awareness of safer road use.
Lessons include brief writing, concept development, production and evaluation.
The presentation could be a movie, animation or presentation.
