On the Go!

On the Go! is an innovative and interactive Travelwise School programme designed for Year 7 and 8 students. 

This unit of 6 lessons addresses critical issues facing our communities today. These issues include climate change, road safety, and sustainable transport.

Coordinators and teachers can:

• raise awareness about climate change and its impacts
• promote safe and responsible travel habits
• encourage healthy, active and sustainable transport choices
• foster independence and decision-making skills.

Published by Auckland Transport, this resource is available for schools around Aotearoa.  Content can be adapted to suit local contexts.
